Surah Al Fath Ayat 27 Tafseer

Para 26 - حٰمٓ

سورة الفتح

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

48.27

لَقَدْ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ رَسُوْلَهُ الرُّءْیَا بِالْحَقِّۚ-لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ اِنْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ اٰمِنِیْنَۙ-مُحَلِّقِیْنَ رُءُوْسَكُمْ وَ مُقَصِّرِیْنَۙ-لَا تَخَافُوْنَؕ-فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوْا فَجَعَلَ مِنْ دُوْنِ ذٰلِكَ فَتْحًا قَرِیْبًا(27)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Allah certainly fulfilled the true vision of the Messenger. [1] You will most certainly enter the Sacred House, if Allah wills, safe and sound, shaving your heads and cutting ˹your˺ hair; you will not fear anyone. He knows that which you do not know. So He decreed, before that (entry into Makkah), an imminent victory.

Commentary

Before intending to go towards Hudaybiyyah, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw a dream in Madinah in which he and his Companions safely entered Makkah. Some of the Companions had shaved their heads whilst others had cut some of their hair. He mentioned the dream to them, so they became happy. They assumed that they would enter Makkah in that very year. When the Muslims returned from Hudaybiyyah after the treaty without entering Makkah, the hypocrites taunted and mocked them, saying: "What happened with that dream?" Consequently, this verse was revealed, and confirmation was given that the dream would come true. Hence, it came true in the following year.
